One of the standout features of the U2602 series is the ability to replace the transmitter's capsule with models from leading brands such as Shure BETA 58A®, SM58®, Sennheiser® E945, and select AudioTechnica® models. This allows users to customize their sound experience, maintaining the flexibility to combine the Soundsation transmitter body with their preferred capsules—an advantage that few systems on the market can offer.
The capsule included in the package is no less impressive. Resulting from meticulous selection, it delivers outstanding sound performance: warm, enveloping lows, crystal-clear highs, and free from the distortions often associated with low-quality wireless systems. The sound is clear and faithful, and feedback from professionals in the industry consistently confirms its excellence.
At the heart of the Wire-Free U2602 system is the UHF True Diversity transmission, now further improved. This upgrade ensures greater audio signal stability and a wider dynamic range, making the system ideal for use in complex environments. While the True Diversity technology remains analog, key functions such as frequency management and interference handling are managed by advanced digital algorithms that significantly optimize the signal. The quality of these algorithms is crucial: while two digital systems may appear similar, the way they process the audio signal can make a huge difference.
The new display, featuring a black background with white characters, provides excellent contrast, making it ideal for live performances in dimly lit environments. This detail highlights Soundsation's attention to practical stage use as well.
It's also important to note that the locking system between capsules and transmitters is not standardized at the industrial level, and sometimes not even within the same brand. This means that not all Shure capsules are compatible with the Soundsation transmitter, only those specified (such as the BETA 58 and SM58). Moreover, future changes by manufacturers could affect these compatibilities, so it's essential to communicate these details clearly to avoid misunderstandings.
